OUR HISTORY

Established in 1974 by Jerry Whitney, Clayton Sales Company is one of the Midwest's oldest fireplace and hearth product stores. Today, Jerry's son Clay carries on the Clayton Sales tradition of excellence. Recently, Clayton Sales expanded from a wholesale entity to a retail operation offering professional installation to their clientel.

Clayton Sales Co. is located inside the historic Illinois Central Railroad Depot in Decatur, IL. A newly remodeled showroom features over twenty-five burning units each uniquely displaying several surround options including marble, wood and stone mantels, cultured stone and tile along with a variety of accessories.
